The most Mediterranean of our campsites! By the sea, nestling on wooded hills of cork oaks, the Le Bois de Valmarie campsite sits imposingly in a postcard setting, with enchanting attractions.

In the heart of Le Racou, a small hamlet in Argelès sur Mer where peace and the gentle way of life reign, Le Bois de Valmarie entices you to spend a fun and relaxing holiday, as a family or with friends.

On-site, you will undoubtedly enjoy the tranquillity of the location, but also the quality of the facilities and services on offer here: a magnificent heated water park of 400 m² which overlooks the sea, slides, water play area, comfortable and spacious accommodation, bar restaurant and children’s play areas. There is also a grocery, snack bar and Wi-Fi coverage, etc.

Located at the start of the path running along the rocky Catalan coast up to Collioure, our 5 star Argelès sur Mer campsite proves ideally situated for going for a walk to explore the Pyrénées Orientales.

Our stay on the Le Bois de Valmarie campsite was amazing! We could enjoy its location just a stone’s throw from the Le Racou beach, more private and less busy than the Grande Plage beach in Argelès.

Your campsite close to Spain entices you to discover the wellness area, set aside for adults with a gym, spa and sauna. For your children, go to the children’s club (3-12 years) or on the play areas (giant trampoline, rope bridge, children’s adventure playground…).

Lastly, comfortable holiday rentals are spread all over the campsite. Well equipped, they contribute to fulfilling our objective: making Le Bois de Valmarie the favourite holiday resort for families with children, couples and lovers of idleness by the sea!

Pets are welcome (1 animal per holiday rental, dogs in categories 1 and 2 – dangerous dogs – are prohibited).

Please note we make every possible effort to facilitate the accommodation of persons with reduced mobility, however the campsite is dependant upon the constraints of its surroundings. Laid out in terraces on the Le Racou hills, in certain places the ground proves sloping.
