The African Wild Park of Sigean is a private animal park on the Mediterranean coast, between Narbonne and Perpignan. Created in 1974, it hosts 160 species and in total 3800 animals are living on 300 hectares.
An original activity for the whole family, the tour goes through a natural environment with ponds, marshes, plains and hills, where a wide variety of different animal species cohabit and reproduce, mostly African species, but also some local wildlife.
Two ways to tour:
- By car: A 7.5 km trail passes through breeding parks, in a natural environment
- On foot: Park your car in the parking areas located in the centre of the park, many viewing points will make you discover the life of African antelopes, chimpanzees, elephants and reptiles.
